Small Changes = Big Impact

This session shares how Athens Intermediate School improved from a B to an A on the Alabama State Report Card by focusing on more than just academics. We’ll talk about how the Eagle Code helped set clear expectations for students and staff, how we backed that up with consistent practices like attendance meetings and focused instruction, and how we raised expectations by not settling for “good enough.” This isn’t about one program—it’s about culture, consistency, and a mindset that pushed us to do better for every student.
